seedai / uppu seedai

Ingredients:
Rice flour - 4 cups
Urad flour - 1 cup
Grated coconut - 1 tbsp
Asafoetida / perungayam - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp or as per taste
Sesame seeds- 1/4 tsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Method:

For 4 cups of rice flour or arisi maavu, add 1 cup of urad flour or uluthamaavu,grated coconut,salt, butter, sesame seeds,perungayam and make a soft dough. Now make a very small or medium size balls of the dough and place them over a clean cloth or dry plate.Heat oil in a deep kadai and drop the balls one by one slowly.You will hear the boiling / frying  sound.When they all turn to golden colour,switch off the stove and transfer them into a container.
