This thogaiyal can be served as a side dish with idli or dosa or even curd rice.You can also mix with rice and serve.It can also be prepared without coconut.
Ingredients:
Urad dhal - 1 tbsp
Milagu - 1/4 tsp
Red chilly - 2 or 3 nos

Method :
Heat oil in pan,add urad dhal, red chillies, milagu, asafoetida and fry them till golden brown and set aside.Now add a little oil in the same pan and saute pudina for a minute or two.Grind the fried dhal and other ingredients along with shredded coconut,salt and tamarind to a coarse paste.At last add pudina leaves and grind to a fine paste.Serve with rice and roasted papad.
